What fenzi.dev keeps.
Your source code, your model keys, and your agents' terminal sessions stay on your machine. This page lists what fenzi.dev itself keeps, and for how long. Updated 17 October 2026.
Downloads
When you fetch the install script, a CLI binary, or the Mac app, fenzi.dev keeps the time, the file, the IP address it came from, and the country and city that address is in. The place comes from a database on our server; the address is not sent anywhere to be looked up. We use this to see how many people install Fenzi and where they are. The address and its place are deleted after 90 days. A count per file and per day stays, with no address.
Each fenzi installed on a machine checks for a new version at most once a day. That check is counted per day, and its address is not kept.
Access requests
The request access form keeps your name, work email, company, its domain, and what you wrote. We use them to answer you and, if we grant access, to open your team. We mail you a confirmation and our staff a note. Ask us and we delete your request.
Team accounts
A team member's name, email, role, and a hash of their password are kept so they can sign in to the console. For each machine signed in to a team, the console keeps its name, its OpenShell version and settings, the names of its running sandboxes, and when it was last seen. The team's policy revisions are kept as the team publishes them.
A team's machines send the sandbox's allow and deny decisions: the time, the machine and sandbox, the program, the destination, the rule, and the reason. Not the request body, not the files, and not what the agent typed. Decision records are deleted after 90 days.
Cookies and analytics
Signing in to the console or the office sets one session cookie. Every page loads Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and sends Google your address and the pages you visit.
Who handles it
